There is a code of practice by which all Letting Agents should adhere, i.e. the banking of tenant deposits, professional expertise, etc.

This is probably one of the most important aspects of a smooth letting service. A professionally prepared inventory which is signed by both the tenant and agent, detailing the condition of every item within the property, including meter readings, etc. This item has become even more critical since the inception of Deposit Protection Schemes.
We undertake to regularly inspect the property and report back to you, in written form, shortly after that inspection with any recommendations or remarks for your peace of mind.
We can undertake any refurbishment work on your behalf. We have close contact with a number of tradesmen and, because of the large volume of properties we manage, are able to get the very best prices from them. A benefit which is passed on to you.
We also employ a skilled "handy-man" who can cover all the above tasks at a moment’s notice, maybe to maintain a property until let or in between lets, or until we are able to recruit local staff on a more permanent basis, if required.
